Bailey & Galyen Attorneys at Law, as a large and established firm, often highlights features that attract a wide range of clients. Based on the provided client reviews, some key features and highlights emerge, alongside areas that potential clients might consider carefully.
Features / Highlights:
- Broad Legal Expertise: The firm's ability to handle various legal areas (implied by a general "law firm" and the varied nature of typical client needs) suggests a wide range of knowledge and experience.
- Initial Client Satisfaction: One review indicates a positive start to the client relationship, with the client stating "So far everything has been good" and being "happier with the way Kim has handled things" at the beginning of the process.
- Recommendation from Satisfied Clients: The positive reviewer explicitly states, "Would recommend them to anybody!", indicating a strong endorsement based on their initial experience.
Areas of Consideration (Based on a Negative Review):
- Communication and Attendance Issues: A significant concern raised by a client is the alleged "no show" at a hearing by attorney Kim Wyatt, despite funds being taken from weekly checks. This points to potential issues with attorney availability or communication regarding court dates.
- Lack of Client Care and Results: The client expresses extreme dissatisfaction, stating "Thanks Kim wyatt for nothing" and attributing their current disability to a lack of effective representation. This highlights a perceived failure to achieve a positive outcome and a lack of support during a critical time.
- Financial Concerns: The mention of money being taken from "weekly checks" without a corresponding positive result or attendance at a hearing raises serious concerns about fee management and client value in that specific instance.
While specific, publicly advertised "promotions" or "special offers" are not detailed in the provided information, Bailey & Galyen, like many large law firms specializing in personal injury and workers' compensation, typically operates on a contingency fee basis for certain case types.
Contingency Fee Basis (Commonly Applicable):
- "No Win, No Fee" for Approved Cases: For personal injury and workers' compensation claims, clients generally do not pay attorney fees upfront. Instead, the firm's fees are a percentage of the final settlement or court award. If the case is not won, the client typically does not owe attorney fees. This approach significantly reduces the financial risk for injured individuals who may already be facing medical expenses and lost wages.
Free Initial Consultation:
- Initial Case Evaluation: It is also a common practice for personal injury and workers' compensation firms to offer a free initial consultation. This allows prospective clients to discuss the details of their situation, understand their legal options, and receive preliminary advice without any upfront cost. This "free consultation" serves as a valuable offer, providing clarity and peace of mind during a stressful period.
These standard practices, while not unique "promotions," are fundamental advantages of working with firms like Bailey & Galyen and significantly benefit Texans needing legal assistance after an accident or injury. They aim to ensure that financial constraints do not prevent injured individuals from seeking justice and compensation. Interested individuals are encouraged to contact Bailey & Galyen Attorneys at Law directly to inquire about their specific case and applicable fee structures.
Connecting with Bailey & Galyen Attorneys at Law is straightforward for Texans seeking legal assistance.

So far everything has been good, have to learn to be a little more patient but I'm an impatient guy unfortunately. But things have turned out very well I could not be happier with the way Kim has handled things but we have just started and I feel like everything we'll move along as long as I can keep my cool. Would recommend them to anybody!
Kim wyatt took money from my weekly checks but was a no show at my hearing May 25,2022. Due to my injuries, now I'm on disability. Thanks Kim wyatt for nothing.
Here to update my review. A day or two after writing this review, my attorney called me to repair the relationship in which I appreciate. Although I stand on what I said previously, I truly appreciate the attorney herself for reaching out to me and addressing each of my concerns and more importantly my case. Absolutely horrible! I retained this company for a workers comp issue and they have not communicated with me AT ALL yet I received a letter for billing. I just found out that Esmeralda was my case manager and she NEVER has time nor does she have the decency to return calls. When I was finally able to reach her she said that she hadn’t had time to go over my case with the attorney and stated she would call me once that was done. It’s been almost 3 weeks and I still have not received a word. I have no idea what is going on with my case and I feel like no one here cares. Do yourself a favor & avoid at all cost!
Avoid at any cost , hired this office for immigration file and they ripped me off with 4500$ to only get me 2 years green card not all the way to changing status. Their lawyer didn’t honor the contract and started ignoring my emails then saying they “said” it’s not for citizenship and I asked them to show on the contract where it shows this but no response and the owner same thing ignored my emails. I will file case based on contract. Hit & run office.
Michael Galyen handled by personal injury case so well! Fully transparent, professional, and my settlement was more than I was expecting. Great stuff at Bailey and Galyen!
