Customer Reviews
(6 reviews)
I contacted Dhali Law seeking legal representation for my Title VII retaliation case in federal court (EDVA) after my attorney withdrew from the case. Instead of a meaningful review of my case or even a brief discussion, I received a generic rejection with no explanation. When I followed up and provided a detailed written summary of my situation, Mr. Dhali claimed to have read the document but still refused to consider my case—again without giving any substantive reason. Furthermore, I believe Mr. Dhali rejected my case out of spite due to the EEOC determination letter stating that I was discriminated against by my former employer’s clients because I was not Indian. Given that Mr. Dhali has Indian ancestry, it is highly suspect that he would refuse to even discuss my case, especially when his firm specializes in employment law. This raises serious ethical concerns about whether his decision was based on bias rather than legal merit. This is not the kind of professionalism or client respect one would expect from a law firm. If an attorney decides to reject a case, they should be transparent about why rather than dismiss potential clients with vague, copy-paste responses. ⚠ I do NOT recommend this firm for serious employment litigation matters. If you need dedicated legal representation, look elsewhere.
Unprofessional Conduct and Case Mishandling: I had an extremely disappointing experience with attorney AJ Dhali. Despite promising to handle my case effectively, he demonstrated a severe lack of communication, professionalism, and follow-through. He consistently ignored my calls and emails, leaving me uninformed about the status of my case. His negligence caused unnecessary delays and significantly harmed my legal position. Additionally, his failure to meet deadlines and provide proper updates put me at a disadvantage in my proceedings. I do not recommend his services to anyone seeking reliable legal representation.
Mr. Dhali is a very generous attorney who knows his stuff. Often, you don't hear "generous" and attorney mentioned in the same sentence. I just mean he will not nickel and dime you. I needed advice on dealing with two separate employment matters in a couple of instances. Mr. Dhali gave me solid "complimentary" advice over the phone, which was a significant help to me. He is direct and down-to-earth. He makes you feel like you have an advocate in your corner, for sure! Thank you, Mr. Dhali!
Hired AJ. But I don't recommend. Made many mistakes, missed deadlines. Wrongly assessed the case. Lack legal knowledge. I ended up writing most of my own discovery & filings, spoon feeding him. Missed crucial deadline cost me the most, affecting the rest of my life. I didn't feel he fulfilled his fiduciary duties, but to look out for his own interest, not mine.
There are not enough stars to give AJ. AJ is very knowledgeable, ethical, honest, a great listener, and an advocate with unquestionable integrity. His quality and integrity are truly exceptional! P:S Thank you so much AJ Dhali for your command of the law, strategic mind and insight, and confidence in providing support and analysis. No matter the outcome of my case I highly recommend AJ Dhali without any hesitation!!!
