My wife and I worked with Amy to create a trust at the suggestion of our financial planner. Amy was very easy to work with! She listened as much as she talked, and helped us figure out exactly what we needed. So when my mother needed help reviewing her will and power of attorney, we went straight to Amy. She pointed out several issues we didn't know existed, and had simple and straightforward solutions to some questions that we had struggled elsewhere to get answered. We would recommend anyone take estate or elder care issues to Amy.
Shocked at the indiscriminate costs for this firm. It’s my first and hopefully last experience with lawyers and paralegals. Being charged when THEY think of questions unrelated to case. And being charged for the simplest of 30 second email. I hate it all.
Amy was extremely kind and understanding, and helpful even as the effort we were working on periodically got complicated. Her willingness to stick around and follow through put us at ease throughout the process. I'd gladly recommend her and her team.
As caregiver for my mom with dementia, I didn’t know where to start when I realized she had no legal documents (will, power of attorney, advance directive, etc.). Trying to figure out what lawyer to use was overwhelming in itself let alone everything that needed to be done. Thankfully I saw Amy Griboff’s website specializing in Elder Law (I didn’t even know that was a thing!). I immediately checked it out. Everything about her, her video, and more spoke to me like nothing I had read previously. I had to take this time to write because I’m sure there are others like me, similar in circumstances with a parent with dementia and no proper legal documents. Even if the circumstance is different though, AMY is still the same. Her wisdom, demeanor, and passion for this specific area of law is literally a comfort. Even though mom struggled a lot with answers, she didn’t have the usual “shut down” because of how Amy handled every little detail. It truly was a breakthrough and I’m so grateful. Amy covered so much in the 2-hour consultation yet it didn’t seem overwhelming. The way Amy phrased things and spoke with mom helped ME in so many ways. After our meeting, mom continually said how nice Amy was and how much she liked her. There was no anxiety, anger, or concern on her part. I couldn’t agree more with mom and highly recommend Amy Griboff!
We are so impressed with Amy. Her calmness, sincerity, honesty, and counsel were what we needed in a very stressful time after a parent’s stroke. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is confronted with a pressing legal, elder care matter.
