The review explicitly mentions that "at least half the court were non-white," including a Latino lead detective, Latino judge, African American prosecutor, and a multiracial victim's family, and states the argument was perceived as "one of the dumbest things I’ve seen in court" and that the case was lost. Promotions or Special Offers

While specific "promotions" in the consumer marketing sense are not typically advertised by legal firms, firms specializing in areas like criminal defense and personal injury often utilize specific fee structures that benefit clients. Based on common practice for firms involved in civil rights, discrimination, and personal injury cases, it is highly likely that Lewis Romero, Esq. | Trial Attorney offers a free initial consultation. This allows potential clients to discuss the specifics of their case, understand their legal options, and assess how the firm can assist them without an upfront financial commitment.

Furthermore, for certain case types, particularly personal injury and potentially some civil rights or discrimination cases, firms often operate on a contingency fee basis. This means that clients would not pay attorney fees unless a successful outcome (a settlement or favorable verdict) is achieved. This model makes legal representation accessible to individuals who may not have the immediate financial resources to pay hourly legal fees. However, the provided information does not explicitly confirm a contingency fee for all his practice areas, so it's essential to verify this directly with the firm.

Prospective clients are encouraged to contact Lewis Romero, Esq. | Trial Attorney directly to inquire about their consultation process, fee structure for their specific legal needs, and any arrangements they offer to make legal representation accessible.

Observations from sitting across a courtroom from him for YEARS: He is extremely disrespectful when it comes to other people’s time, and I’m not just talking about being late to court NUMEROUS times, but also years of delays. The personal ethics behind this is something I’ll never understand. There were several times we waited for court to begin for the day, judge, prosecutor, jurors, and he’d be late. One time in particular he was hiding behind a pillar and all that was visible was the tips of his hideous shoes. Openly disrespecting the victims family members (in my opinion) by way of sneering at us when he thought he made a good point. I get that you’re a lawyer and it was your job to defend an accused cold blooded killer, but isn’t it possible to do that without adding more stress to the family? He went on and on about how his client was sleep deprived on a school night, and didn’t get his dinner, he was interrogated and uncomfortable, all while the victim was at the morgue. He said as a father he had empathy, I tell you he never showed a bit. Lastly, he played the dang race card the last day of trial. He kept yelling about injustice against this “brown” boy, and had the nerve to sneer at us as if we’d done something wrong. Mind you, at least half the court were non-white. Lead detective, Latino, judge, Latino, prosecutor, African American, jury all of the above plus Asian. Victims family, multiracial. It’s one of the dumbest things I’ve seen in court. By the way, you lost. Jae Williams was convicted of first degree murder, and all of this dancing in oil isn’t going to change that. If he hurts another living creature, that energy is on you.
