While Maggio Kattar Nahajzer + Alexander, P.C. operates in a highly specialized legal field, their website indicates an approach to client engagement that offers a form of "promotion" through their fee structure. They explicitly mention offering competitive flat fees. This structure, while not a discount in the traditional sense, serves as a significant benefit for clients by providing clarity and predictability regarding legal costs. In complex immigration matters, where expenses can sometimes be open-ended, knowing the exact fee upfront can be a considerable advantage for budgeting and financial planning.
Additionally, like many professional legal services, they would typically offer an initial consultation. This meeting allows potential clients to discuss their specific immigration needs, whether for employment-based visas, family petitions, asylum, or other matters. During this consultation, the firm can assess the case, explain the legal process, and outline the services they can provide, often clarifying the flat fee structure relevant to the client's situation. While the information provided does not specify if these initial consultations are free, it is common practice in the legal industry for firms to conduct an introductory discussion to determine if there is a mutual fit before formal engagement. Interested parties are encouraged to contact the firm directly to inquire about their initial consultation policy and fee structure for their specific immigration needs.

Not sure if there can be any lawyer worst than them. In general it take a month to acknowledge that they have received your email, another month to ask a question to your question, 3 months to revise 2 sentences from what it has been written. Not sure why this kind of firm can get exclusive collaboration contract with big companies so that employee has to use them. If you have a choice, please please find someone else
Please read most of the comments on Maggio + Kattar. My observations are exactly in line with them: Maggio Kattar Nahajzer + Alexander (a) are slow in response, (b) provide and prepare incorrect documents, that include errors and mistakes, (c) often use old documents instead of revised or updated versions, (d) do not communicate pro-actively, and, most importantly, (e) do not inform you about changes in immigration law or current circustances. JIM ALEXANDER IS THE WORST IMMIGRATION ATTORNEY you can find anywhere. Jim and his paralegals are role models in how NOT to treat a client, especially Jim himself. Their credo: Charge a lot, work little, make mistakes, don't care. Plus, he is baded in CA which adds three hous of time difference to his response. This is already a hastle when you're at the US East Coast, but especially when you're abroard. In a nutshell: They charge you a lot, they're lazy, impolite and mess-up your process.
This is the worst lawyer firm I have ever working with. They never provided a time schedule on the work. Whenever I asked them when can they submit some application, they always said we can't estimate that. It took them 8 months to finish the job of description for my PERM. At the beginning they said, it will take them 3 weeks to finish I140 application, yet after 3 weeks they said they dont know when they can submit I140. Stay away from them.
I've had nothing but great experience with this firm. They fight for clients. They pulled all strings to ensure success for their clients. I will be eternally grateful to all the fine lawyers at this firm. Past and present.
