I cannot put into words how grateful I am for Palace Law—especially Chelsi and Patrick Palace. After being referred by John Bonin, another outstanding attorney, I finally found a team who truly listens, cares, and fights for their clients. Palace Law has been nothing short of a lifesaver for me, my wife, and our entire family. I fully qualify For the maximum award of permanent partial disability (PPD) - And I am at the highest levels/categories of disability. All of my back and neck, injuries and issues have progressively gotten worse and worse. Before finding Palace Law, I endured a nightmare of mistreatment and injustice while working at a major Seattle-area shipyard as a union machinist—one My story is one of relentless hardship: I suffered a devastating, progressive occupational disease after months of brutal, repetitive, and unsafe work—work that was riddled with OSHA violations and toxic exposures. Instead of protecting me, my employer and union failed me at every turn. I was harassed, retaliated against, discriminated against, and ultimately terminated unlawfully. My health insurance was cut off when I needed it most, leaving me buried in tens of thousands of dollars in medical debt and unable to access critical medications for my many work-related injuries and health conditions. I have been denied hundreds of hours of overtime, PTO, sick leave, and vacation pay. My pension and 401(k) contributions—supposed to be 100% matched by both my employer and union—were taken from me. I was denied my $5,000 tool allowance, blocked from union support, and shut out of emergency cash assistance and hardship grants that I should have received as a machinist union member. My L&I claim was deliberately misfiled as a single injury instead of the occupational disease it truly is, and the claims process was made even worse by unhelpful, incompetent claims managers who seemed intent on suppressing my rights rather than upholding them. Because of all this, I am now fully disabled at just 31 years old. I can’t even bend over to put on my own socks. I went from being a McDonald’s All-American and Division I athlete, with a stack of Division II scholarships for basketball and football, to someone who can’t hike, fish, bike, paddleboard, boat, snowmobile, run, or even work out. My wife and I have lost the active, joyful life we built together. I’ve lost my hearing, my vision is failing, my memory is slipping, and I live with constant pain and exhaustion. And through it all, my employer and union have tried to silence me, meeting behind closed doors and hoping I would just go away. But Palace Law would not let that happen. Chelsi has been a true advocate—responsive, knowledgeable, compassionate, and relentless. She listens, she cares, and she stands up for me every single time. Patrick Palace’s leadership and reputation are unmatched; his team’s expertise and commitment give me real hope for the first time in years. I am confident that, with Palace Law by my side, I will finally receive the maximum settlement and justice I deserve for everything I’ve been put through. My wife 100% native American fully enrolled, tribal member of the MAKAH TRIBE - Maybe my family, and our friends all want to thank Palace Law for believing in me and having my back 100%. We spent years searching for an attorney who would truly fight for us, and we found that—and so much more—in Palace Law. We are still working through my case, but I already feel hope, support, and a sense of justice returning to my life. Palace Law, Chelsi, and Patrick Palace: you are my heroes. Thank you for your dedication, your strength, and your unwavering commitment to standing up for injured workers like me. If you are looking for a law firm that will truly fight for your rights, listen to your story, and never back down—look no further. Palace Law is the best of the best. **Thank you, Palace Law, for being the advocates every injured worker deserves. You have changed my life.**
Big thank you to Palace Law & there team of lawyers, especially Aria, for her incredible support with my L&I claim. Her expertise, dedication, and attention to detail have been invaluable. She’s made the process smooth and stress-free, and I truly appreciate all her hard work.
John has always made time for my questions, no matter how big or small. I’ve leaned on him for some very good advice with a variety of personal and professional matters when too overwhelmed to make sound decisions. I met John years ago through a referral from someone else who highly recommended working with him.
My contact was always there. I was never misled or told anything that was not true or possible This is the most valuable thing I’ve learned Get a knowledgeable person on your side. No one else can see the end possibilities from the beginning. Lawyers make their living by helping you or helping themselves Do your family members a favor. Get the best team around. Palace. Get it done for you and not for your legal representatives. I know. I found out the truth the hard way. It could cost you big time …
Will never recommend this place to even an enemy. Had like 4 different attorneys in 4 years on my case, never once met with me to go over my case and I had photos of my injury but never wanted them, never fought to be on my side, always took days for there return phone calls, never went to court to fight for my case to get reopened so I could get justice. I was badly injured in the job and now have to live with my ongoing pain cause palace law was never on my side.
