When considering a legal professional, potential clients often look for specific qualities and attributes that define the practice. It's important to present this information factually and neutrally, based on the available public data, which in this case includes direct customer reviews.
Based on the provided customer feedback, here are some points that are highlighted, reflecting client perceptions:
-
Promises of Timely Action: One reviewer mentioned being promised an "emergency order" within a week, indicating that the firm may initially commit to quick action.
-
Communication Issues: Multiple reviews highlight concerns regarding communication. One client stated being "ghosted for a week" after paying a retainer and had difficulty getting in touch with staff (e.g., "Cannot get in touch with Annie at all. She gives no updates on our case and does not respond to voice calls, texts or emails."). This suggests potential challenges in receiving timely updates and responses.
-
Accountability and Professionalism Concerns: A reviewer expressed frustration with a perceived "lack of action" and words not matching, leading to a feeling of being "screwed over." Another client directly stated, "Rischard himself absolutely effed up my moms case and tried to blame it on Alan his wire guy," and that Rischard is "not a stand up man. Not a stand up firm." These comments suggest concerns about accountability and the firm's overall professional conduct.
-
Case Handling and Outcomes: One client's case remained "battling for probate" 10 months later, with their "sister was already issued a $25K check," indicating dissatisfaction with the progress and outcome of their case. Another client was "Eligible to be DEPORTED" due to the attorney allegedly not checking with immigration regarding an idea. These examples point to perceived issues in effective case management and favorable client outcomes.
-
Interpersonal Dynamics: A review describes an incident where the attorney's "fake tough guy persona stopped, he became submissive and apologetic" after being "cussed out by a girls father." This suggests a perceived inconsistency in demeanor under pressure.
-
Reputation in the Community: One reviewer advises, "Ask Society and people in your neighborhood about his name and you will be shocked, Forget these reviews ask people in REAL LIFE. They bury bad reviews w fake good ones." This points to a perceived negative community reputation beyond online platforms.
It is crucial for any potential client to consider these points alongside their own due diligence, including direct communication with the firm, to form a comprehensive understanding of what to expect from Rischard Elder Law.

Met with Dennis last summer. I have an estranged sister who was fighting my moms probate. Gave me a speech about how I wouldn’t be ghosted, a priority, and within a week he would have an emergency order. His office called us 3x the next day to verify the wire info for a $5,000 retainer. Ghosted for a week after that. When I tried to hold him accountable for his lack of action and words not matching he told me he went to visit his mother for her birthday dinner. Thanks for running in you put your mom first and screwed over my mom. He couldn’t handle me firing me and continued to try to get me to know his feelings. I had to send an email to the whole office staff asking him to stop. He doesn’t get to explain with excuses why he didn’t do what he said he would. He is a straight up liar. 10 months later I’m still battling for probate but my sister was already issued a $25K check. Rischard himself absolutely effed up my moms case and tried to blame it on Alan his wire guy. If you value your loved ones DO NOT use this firm. Rischard = not a stand up man. Not a stand up firm.
Cannot get in touch with Annie at all. She gives no updates on our case and does not respond to voice calls, texts or emails. Would not recommend.
I am in a networking group with Denis and have learned a lot about him and his firm through that connection. While I am fortunate to be at a stage of life where his services are not an immediate need, I am fortunate to have him as a connection should the need arise. He knows how to expertly navigate the system as your advocate and ensure proper outcomes and protections through challenging times. I recommend Denis without hesitation to serve your elder care, estate and related legal needs.

Do not trust these people. The guy is a con artist. They take advantage of old folks. Charged more than double the amount we agreed on...
