SF Bay Area Law's office is conveniently located at 22 Battery St Suite 512, San Francisco, CA 94111, USA. This address places the firm in the bustling Financial District of San Francisco, a central and easily accessible area for individuals throughout the Bay Area.
The 22 Battery Street building is situated in a vibrant part of downtown San Francisco, offering excellent connectivity via public transportation. Clients can readily reach the office using BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) and Muni (San Francisco Municipal Railway) lines, with the Embarcadero and Montgomery Street stations just a short walk away. These major transit hubs provide seamless access from various San Francisco neighborhoods, as well as from the East Bay and Peninsula, making it convenient for clients traveling from different regions. For those who prefer to drive, numerous public parking garages are available in the surrounding blocks, though it is always advisable to consider typical city traffic and potential parking availability, especially during business hours. The firm's choice of a central, well-connected location underscores its commitment to being easily reachable for individuals seeking legal assistance during what can often be a stressful and difficult period in their lives. This accessibility helps ensure that clients can focus on their recovery while their legal matters are professionally handled.
Based on the available information and client reviews, SF Bay Area Law appears to specialize primarily in areas of law related to personal injury and workers' compensation. While specific detailed lists of services are not publicly available in a structured format, typical services offered by firms in these practice areas include:
Personal Injury Claims: Representing individuals who have sustained injuries due to the negligence or wrongdoing of others. This can encompass a wide range of incidents, such as:
- Car Accidents: Handling claims arising from motor vehicle collisions, including rear-end collisions, hit-and-runs, and distracted driving accidents.
- Slip and Fall Accidents: Addressing premises liability cases where injuries occur due to unsafe conditions on someone else's property.
- Wrongful Death: Providing compassionate legal support to families who have lost a loved one due to another party's negligence.
- Motorcycle Accidents: Representing motorcyclists injured in accidents.
- Truck Accidents: Handling complex cases involving commercial trucks and large vehicles.
- Pedestrian and Bicycle Accidents: Advocating for vulnerable road users injured by vehicles.
Workers' Compensation: Assisting employees who have been injured or fallen ill due to their work. This involves navigating the California workers' compensation system to secure benefits for:
- Medical treatment
- Temporary and permanent disability
- Vocational rehabilitation
- Death benefits for dependents
Settlement Negotiations: Vigorously negotiating with insurance companies and opposing counsel to achieve the maximum possible compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering, and other damages.
Litigation: When fair settlements cannot be reached through negotiation, the firm is prepared to take cases to court and represent clients in trial to pursue their rightful compensation.
It is important for prospective clients to directly inquire about the firm's specific experience and success rates in cases similar to their own.
While comprehensive details on the firm's unique features are not widely publicized, certain highlights and insights can be inferred from the provided information and general practices within personal injury and workers' compensation law:
Client-Centric Approach (as per positive review): One client highlighted that the office "did a great job and exceeded all of my expectations," securing a settlement "beyond what I could have ever thought of." This suggests a commitment to achieving strong results for their clients and a focus on maximizing compensation for injuries.
Trustworthiness and Support: The same positive review mentioned, "They were trustworthy and helpful through the whole case." This indicates that the firm aims to provide clear guidance and support, alleviating client stress during often difficult legal processes.
Experience in Injury Claims: The context of the positive review (an accident and injury case) suggests significant experience in handling such matters, implying they are well-versed in the complexities of personal injury claims and negotiation with insurance companies.
Accessibility: The firm's location in the Financial District of San Francisco makes it highly accessible via public transportation, which is a practical benefit for clients living in and around the Bay Area, especially those who may be limited in their mobility due to injuries.
Potential for Varied Experience Levels: While one review speaks highly of their results in a personal injury case, another review mentions an attorney (Mr. Putters, possibly a former or current attorney at the firm) who, in the reviewer's opinion, "is not the right attorney" for "complicated & long case" and "doesn't have the right experience." This suggests that, like many firms, individual attorney experiences and specialties within SF Bay Area Law may vary, and clients might benefit from confirming the specific attorney handling their case.
It is always recommended for potential clients to conduct their own due diligence, including an initial consultation, to assess if the firm's specific expertise and approach align with their needs, particularly for cases that might be complex or prolonged.
As is standard practice for professional legal service providers, SF Bay Area Law typically does not offer retail-style "promotions" or "special offers." Personal injury and workers' compensation cases often operate on a contingency fee basis. This means that the client does not pay attorney fees upfront. Instead, the attorney's fees are a percentage of the final settlement or award obtained for the client. If the firm does not win the case, the client generally does not owe attorney fees.
This contingency fee arrangement is, in itself, a significant benefit for injured individuals in California, as it allows them to pursue justice without the financial burden of hourly legal fees, especially when they may be out of work or facing substantial medical costs. It aligns the firm's success directly with the client's success.
Prospective clients are encouraged to contact SF Bay Area Law for an initial consultation. During this consultation, they can discuss their case without obligation and receive a clear explanation of the firm's fee structure, including the contingency fee percentage and any potential costs that might be incurred (such as court filing fees or expert witness fees), ensuring full transparency from the outset.

I was referred to this office by a close family friend. At first I thought I didn’t have a case due to the nature of the accident I was in. The office did a great job and exceeded all of my expectations. They were able to get me a settlement beyond what I could have ever thought of. They were trustworthy and helpful through the whole case. I would recommend SF Bay law firm to anyone who is injured and needs a lawyer.
Mr.Putters was the attorney on my case for about 2years( no other option). I will start saying: If you have a complicated &long case Mr.Putters is not the right attorney. Doesn't has the right experience in my opinion. He was not abble to keep my disability % of the QME report un changed in the hearing even with a very good specialist report bc he didn't use it at and didn't knew he had it. Never did the right things to help in order for me to have treatment for my injury. Mr Putters insisted to sign C&R which was in my disfavor.. More, more, more problems and luck of experience. It is really important to have a good attorney and simply Mr.Putters is not. This is my personal experience.
