Having just gone through a 15 month law suit that ended in victory, I feel compelled to unequivocally recommend Mr. James Galvin. His professionalism, along with his sincere desire to help and go the extra mile is what sets him a part. From the first time meeting him, I knew I was in good hands. You can be rest assured that you will be too. I strongly recommend Mr. Galvin help you walk through your lawsuit which can be terrifying at times. His compassionate, as well as, objective views, and impeccable knowledge of the law kept me motivated to weather the storm. He’s a great man. Thank you Mr. Galvin.
First, I rarely do positive reviews on any platform. This is one of them. Over the years, for professional and personal reasons, I’ve had to engage legal advice. I've dealt with lawyers from all over the US in various specialties. I can say, by FAR, James Galvin has been the best to work with due to these three factors. Honesty/Integrity: He’s honest about his knowledge. He’s honest about your possible outcomes and even more important, he’s honest about his charges and billing, truly looking out for the clients finances. Job Knowledge: I engaged him in the area of HOA law. MANY claim to be knowledgeable and after paying ‘consult fee’s’ you quickly find out how little they know despite their claims. James is the real deal in this area. His name comes up when talking to other lawyers in the area as the ‘go to’ person (firm) for individual representation. Personable & Professional: This attribute rounds him out and also puts him at the forefront. A pleasure in communications and style. Speaks to the point, in layman terms in a personable manner and is highly responsive. Many lawyers have one, maybe two of the above attributes, very few have all three. I highly recommend Mr Galvin in the area of real-estate/HOA law and any other specialty he claims expertise.
Mr. David Thurman is absolutely stellar. We ran up against a very difficult family situation where some people were trying to take advantage of my aging father. They had some murky legal documentation to try to get their scam to fly. Mr. Thurman immediately responded with kindness, compassion, and knowledge. He knew the ins and outs of the law and explained it to us in a language we could understand. He was timely in his responses, including writing letters and getting documents filed. We never had to wonder where we stood with our situation. Further, he was able to anticipate issues in advanced and solved them before they became crises. Lastly, he was fair with billing. Every single thing we were billed for was accurate. Unlike some other attorneys who might charge you for just thinking about you over dinner, Mr. Thurman only charged us for what was absolutely necessary. In the end, we did not even use our entire retainer. I cannot recommend this law firm enough.
If I could give James Galvin 6 stars I would. I had never been to arbitration before and was quite nervous about the process. Mr. Galvin took the time to explain the process thoroughly, which gave me the confidence I needed for the day of arbitration. His expertise were so impressive, I would recommend him to anyone, anytime. It's very hard these days, to find someone who cares.
James Galvin is one of the best attorneys I’ve had the pleasure of meeting! He’s very knowledgeable and highly skilled on HOA laws. If you need a lawyer for HOA advice or other legal matters, I recommend James Galvin and the Thurman Wilson Boutwell & Galvin PA attorneys.
