Mark Whitburn was excellent at well communicating the scope of my position to the ARD committee during my son's annual ARD. He played a crucial role in facilitating a unified agreement by the entire committee to best meet the needs of my son within district/campus frameworks. He also patiently and thoroughly takes the time to understand and communicate clearly the legal and system based contexts that impact the positions of his client without any overbearingness or client override. I felt well positioned by his counsel to make informed decisions, research other questions I needed more information on, confident and prepared attending the ARD. Mr. Whitburn lives up to the adage "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure !"
