Promotions or Special Offers

As a personal injury law firm committed to ensuring access to justice for all, Abramson Smith Waldsmith LLP operates on a client-friendly fee structure that serves as a significant "special offer" in itself:

  • Free Initial Consultation: The firm offers a complimentary, no-obligation initial consultation. This allows prospective clients to discuss their case, understand their legal options, and receive a full case assessment without any upfront cost. This is a crucial step for anyone who has suffered an injury.
  • Contingency Fee Basis: This is a standard and highly beneficial arrangement in personal injury law. Clients only pay legal fees if the firm successfully recovers compensation on their behalf. This means there are no "upfront" fees, and the firm covers all litigation costs, which are then reimbursed from the settlement or verdict. This model ensures that high-quality legal representation is accessible regardless of a client's financial situation.

These practices effectively act as ongoing "promotions" by removing financial barriers to legal assistance for injured individuals.

I was on a worksite in Palo Alto when I fell into a hole which was covered by a piece of scrap plywood. I spent the next 4 days in Stanford Hospital where I was treated for my injuries. About 3 months later I was diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. That was when my Workman's Comp attorney recomended I should talk to Jeff Smith. My wife and I met with Jeff and RJ and they agreed to represent me. Everyone at ASW were very professional and worked as a team. They were really easy to work with and gave me updates on a regular basis. Jeff called me several times to inquire how I was doing and how I was dealing with the pain. As my case progressed I was impressed by how the whole team worked togeather to get me a settlement which I'm extremely satisfied with. For anyone with a workplace injury I can highly recommend ASW.They will work to get you the best result and the most compensation possible.

We were impressed with the time and effort they spent on our case. Nothing was overlooked. We were continually informed of the case as it progressed. We received a fair settlement and would recommend this firm to others. They truly fought for us. Jan and Bob Stephens

Melinda Wu August 10, 2014 After any serious injury onto an individual caused by a second party leading to an emergency treatment and/or hospitalization, a common question that comes to mind is, “How can I get the best law firm with a good attorney to represent me?” About two years ago, I was a pedestrian that had been struck by a moving vehicle which resulted in serious injuries. After the incident, I had been referred to three different law firms, however, upon careful research, I decided to try Abramson, Smith and Waldsmith LLP (ASW) since they are listed in “Best Lawyers” and rated by “Super Lawyers.” My personal experience with ASW confirms that they are the best law firm with the best lawyers. I was very happy when ASW accepted my case and agreed to represent me. During this process, the attorneys kept me informed about the status of my case and routinely updated me with any new developments. The attorneys worked as a team and treated my case seriously. They showed genuine concern about my feelings, injuries, health, and wellbeing. Their office staff is friendly and courteous. My case was settled in a professional manner, and I am extremely satisfied with the settlement result and reasonable compensation. ASW has earned its reputation since its foundation. I will highly recommend ASW to anyone who is seeking any legal consultation or representative because of my excellent experience with them and their professional practices and outstanding performance rankings.

I was most fortunate to have the Abramson Smith Waldsmith, LLPLaw firm in San Francisco handle a serious personal injury case for me a couple of years ago. I sought the firm out on the recommendation of a prominent San Francisco Lawyer that I had worked with (practicing in another legal field). The reason for my consulting with a personal injury firm was that had suffered a very difficult fall while walking down a San Francisco street… it happened on a non-compliant sidewalk and unfortunately led to my right ankle being crushed. This in turn required an ambulance to the hospital and ensuing emergency surgery, during which I needed13 nails in my ankle to hold the lower part of my leg together. The pain that followed surgery lasted for a full year, till I needed a second surgery to remove most of the nails that had been a constant bother, and made walking hard. As I was not personally at fault for the injury, I needed a great Law firm to review and possibly handle my case. I found that in Abramson Smith Waldsmith, LLP. When I first sought this firm out, I was received exceptionally well and met all the Partners in the firm. The main lawyer assigned to my case had just the right experience to assist me, but several partners were involved from the beginning and I understand there was continuous communication between them as my case progressed to the complex mediation. I was counseled on an ongoing basis during this stressful process. The firm always made me feel that I was in the best hands. Negotiations with the opponents in the case were difficult and extensive. My protective lawyers provided excellent evidence and were shining during the process. Their out-of-the box creativity and tactics in making their arguments for my case were invaluable. Anyone who hires Abramson Smith Waldsmith, LLP as their law firm is wise in my opinion. Catharina Swanstrom, San Francisco, CA

My wife and I are very fortunate to have had Abramson, Smith and Waldsmith LLP ("ASW") represent us in a personal injury suit that we had brought against a neighbor in our community. We felt that they represented us in the best possible fashion, and that we received a settlement that was as good as we could have expected given the circumstances presented. We were very satisfied with the results. From the very beginning, ASW showed genuine concern and was very attentive to the situation that we were facing. They exhibited a high level of professionalism in practically everything they did and say. They were always quick in responding back to us and in seeing that legal process was performed in a timely fashion. Periodically throughout this entire process, ASW made reference to us as a “team.” We thought that ASW's identification, in this manner, resonated very well. This was because that, like a team, we all had our own individual jobs to perform with the sole intent of achieving a common goal when all was said and done. In the beginning, and immediately following my wife’s injury, my wife and I began the arduous task of seeking legal representation. So, we did what most people would do and began canvassing our friends for references for legal representation in personal injury. To our surprise, we found that most of our friends had never had the need for legal representation of this kind and, consequently, could not provide us with any references. It was only through a “friend of a friend” that we were directed to your firm. The point of this explanation is to say that we have a fairly good sense of how important “word of mouth” is when promoting your profession. You have the satisfaction of knowing that we will heartily recommend your firm whenever someone comes to us seeking legal representation for personal injury. Thanks, very much, for a job well done. Yours truly, John Lambright Gertrud Markgren
