This law firm is a scam I would give it negative stars if possible and one of the divorce attorneys who works here Sarah Robbins is absolutely terrible. She became hostile while speaking to her and has no empathy. She does not offer any advice to her elderly clients and lets them blindly sign away their assets and in fact seems to not even care to work or respond once she has been paid. This firm is all about money only. They employ scare tactics to try to keep people from even coming to the office. The woman who guards the front desk is more like a bouncer you would encounter at a club and has to only be there to intimidate and scare people into leaving. Also, what law firm keeps their doors locked to their paying clients they even have a sign posted on the front notifying clients to leave if they don’t have an appointment photo attached for proof of this ridiculousness. They also only provide phone appointments even when dealing with a client who is a deaf veteran. It’s absolutely despicable the way my grandfather was treated by this law firm, specifically Sarah Robbins who does not return or even read emails sent to her. When on a phone conference with her I even asked her if she had read my email that I sent to her she flat out said no, what a joke. A complaint will be filed with the Texas Bar association because this scam of a law firm must be stopped. Also as I have seen on other reviews no I was not a client, I am writing this for my grandfather who was client, is in his mid 80s, is a veteran, and is someone who was taken advantage of by this firm. Please if you are thinking of hiring them do not. Save your self the money, regret and stress as they seem to get off on taking advantage of people.

Very bad experience. I paid $1,500 for my first uncontested divorce in total. I paid $2,000 for my second uncontested divorce in total. I hired attorneys both times. I tried to get a uncontested child modification through Mark Childress. I told him I was quoted a $4,000 retainer by another attorney and could not afford it. He agreed that was too steep. They ended up trying to charge me over $4,000 in total. Not a man of his word. I suggest if you have an uncontested divorce or modification just do it on your own. We have to take an oath in court. In a system that is supposed to be based on honesty, integrity, and truth, this guy is not that. When called out they will just respond with their terms. Easy copy and paste. They tried to charge me when I corrected them on their grammatical errors in my paperwork. What a joke. Not sure how the other two locations have more than a 1 star review.

Would give this office a 0 star if possible. I used this firm to amend my custody agreement, which was completely non contested. I was informed that I would be going through the paralegal since it was such an easy case, but after over $1,000 in fees they moved me to an attorney and charged me for moving my case to someone else. Also, they forgot to ask me if I wanted to change the child support agreement until AFTER all documents had been approved and signed. If I would have agreed to a meeting with them, it would have started the process all over and I would have been billed thousands more than what I had already paid. I ended services, and STILL received fees from them for random miscellaneous charges. I felt so helpless, but just kept paying. They charge you to go over the fees with you. This firm is super vague, and demands payment immediately, or you will be penalized. I recommend going with a smaller firm. 10/10 WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND.
